Front End Web Developer

My client is a fast-growing, cash-flow positive technology company based in Manhattan that specializes in cutting-edge video delivery and social-networking systems. They are currently looking for a Front End Web Developer for the Software Engineering Department.

Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of experience developing hand-coded, semantic XHTML and CSS, as well as unobtrusive Javascript code. Candidates must have experience with cross-browser compatibility issues and in depth knowledge of DOM and AJAX/JSON protocols. Experience with jQuery, PHP, HTML5 and CSS3 are all considered pluses. BSCS or equivalent required.

Technical Business Analyst, Web

SQL Developer

Our client is a leading ad-serving technology firm located in midtown Manhattan. They are currently looking for a Senior SQL Server Developer to join their IT Team.

Qualified candidates should have at least 5 years of solid hands-on industry experience working as a SQL Server Developer and experience managing data environments. Candidates must have experience with SQL Server 2005/2008, tuning SQL Server for high-volume, 24x7 data processing, experience developing and performance tuning SQL Schemas and stored procedures, knowledge of SSIS, experience with VLDBs, reporting and analytics, and experience manipulating large volumes of flat files. BSCS or equivalent is required.

The SQL Server Developer will be responsible for ownership of a high volume of data i na variety of forms such as database, files, data warehouse, etc. You will design and configure the data environment to manage and store data as well as develop solutions for high-volume data analysis. The Developer is also responsible for developing and maintaining automated processes (SSIS, tasks, DB jobs, etc. Additional responsibilities include production support including backup, recovery, installations, updates, etc., as well as performance optimization and tuning, scaling high-volume 24/7 data flows, development of data loading processes for Data Marts and data processing, and establishment of best practices.

PHP Developer

Leading medical technology firm based in Manhattan is looking for a Senior PHP Developer to work in their Core Product Development team. Qualified candidates should have at least 4-5 years of hands-on professional experience with the following: Linux, PHP 5, XHTML, CSS, jQuery, MySQL, and Apache, as well as some exposure to a CMS (Drupal, Joomla, or any proprietary CMS are acceptable).
